customers and suppliers and strives to ensure a prosperous
future for the UK aftermarket.
Today, UAN
includes more than
100
distributors and
over 170
branches. It boasts supply agreements with some of the best
brands/suppliers in the business.
When the group
selects approved suppliers, UAN actively debates the benefits of
each supplier and it is particularly encouraging to see that
parts quality, range and availability are the three most
important criteria for the distributorship.
Being a UAN
distributor holds a number of benefits. The group operates an
incentive scheme, installer training programme and offers access
to deals on vans and insurance, all of which contribute to UAN’s
positioning itself as all-encompassing and integral part of a
distributor’s business.
UAN recognises
that the aftermarket is increasingly tough for distributors and
garages. Therefore, it works to equip its distributors with the
necessary tools to assist end users on a daily basis, such as
technical support and training.
At garage
level, UAN has launched an Automotive Technician Training
programme, offered through the UAN distributorship.
UAN Automotive Technician Training comprises six modules
covering all the major important issues for garages including:
Vehicle electrics, engine management, climate control and
diagnostics.
All trainees receive full course material and notes and modules
are approved and recognised by the IMI, CPD, ATA and QAA.
